Even we do not work on network interception right now I would not close the bug. Lets keep it open for a little bit longer. Maybe the work that we will do soon for WebDriver BiDi could help here.

Implementing Network interception is a tedious task that is currently done for Webdriver BiDi. We do not see that feature to be implemented for our CDP implementation.
